The Challenge
This Arnold Palmer Signature Course community catches heavy wave action from the aggressive waters of the Albemarle Sound in North Carolina. The developers needed a strong, clean-looking, and cost-effective bulkhead to protect the golf links and its surrounding homes.
The Solution
Our engineers designed a Navy-style bulkhead using the strong yet economical Everlast 3.5 Series. We also recommended EverCap, a structural cap and wale system made with a customized alloy designed specifically for harsh marine environments. The bulkhead for this project was over 23,000 linear feet!
