We’re excited to share a beautiful new construction project for a large waterfront community in Wilmington, North Carolina. D. Logan, president of Logan Homes Inc, hired the Everlast team to provide seawall designs and sheet piling for the resort-style Helms Port Marina development in Wilmington, NC.
New Waterfront Construction in Wilmington, NC
The exclusive Helms Port community was built to include 159 homes and a marina with 75 boat slips, all opening up to the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. Construction included a club, private beach, firepit, and resort pool to benefit Helms Port residents.
We started the project in June 2014, and the contractor, Beaufort, NC’s T.D Eure Inc, completed construction this month. Bogue Banks Marine, a local full-service marine contractor from Morehead City, NC, assisted the general contractor with sheet pile installation.
Our Sheet Piling Delivers Exceptional Durability
The Everlast team provided EverComp 26.1 synthetic sheet piling, with sheets ranging from 18 feet to 25 feet in length, and EverComp 47.5 piling in 28-foot lengths.
