Everlast Synthetic Products (ESP) is proud to have been named the 2016 Georgia Exporter of the Year by the Georgia Small Business Association (SBA). The SBA formally recognized ESP at the annual Small Business Week awards luncheon hosted by the Georgia Quality Lenders Circle (GLQC) on May 4th in Atlanta.
“Here in Georgia we are honored to recognize entrepreneurs from the Georgia small business community; champions from across the state,” says Terri Denison, SBA Georgia District Director.
Building Global Success
ESP has developed international markets across six continents, significantly increasing exports in just three years. This growth comes from our eagerness to—quite literally—go the extra mile. Our team frequently travels around the world to build strong personal relationships with prospects and clients.
Supporting Partners
ESP also considers projects in riskier parts of the world, and relies on help from the Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) International Trade team, as well as support from the US Export Assistance Center and other industry contacts to evaluate opportunities and potential partners.
ESP also continues to benefit from ExportGA, a workshop series organized by the SBDC. The program put Carl in contact with a team of trade experts from the SBDC, SBA, Georgia Department of Economic Development, and US Commercial Services that helped ESP plan its export strategy.
